The Montessori Day School is a private Montessori School specializing in the nurturing, care and education of young children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten.
At TMDS, we emphasize the child's growth and development as a total person. This implies a constant awareness that each child is developing physically and emotionally and allows children to take the lead in the learning process based on the unique needs of each child's particular stage of development.

Our teachers are AMS Montessori trained and certified. They are educated to recognize and respond to each stage of development. Teachers structure both the curriculum content and the classroom environment to enhance the child's personal discovery of the world. The curriculum is sequenced to introduce children to all subject areas, firing imagination and building skills for every age child to pursue their interest areas.
Our beautiful classrooms are especially designed to enhance the rich Montessori curriculum at each age level. Children enjoy spacious playground with lots of room to run and play. Garden areas provide opportunities for further exploration.
Cultural lessons and activities are incorporated within the curriculum. They provide children the opportunity to experience and appreciate their world. Enrichment activities include experiences with art, music, Spanish lessons, drama and movement.
